Accident w/ Injuries

On 6-9-2014 the Seaford Fire Department was alerted for an accident with entrapment on Stein Hwy in the area of Woodland Ferry Rd. 87 Command (Brad Taylor) arrived on location to find a single vehicle head on into a pole with the driver still inside the car. EMS crews arrived and were able to remove the patient from the vehicle. EMS packaged the patient for transport to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford for treatment. Seaford Fire Police shut down Stein Hwy for about an hour until the Delaware Electrical Co-Op crew arrived and secured the utility pole.
