Field Fire - Seaford De.
On 3-13-2014 the Seaford Fire Department was alerted for a brush fire on Matts Rd in the area of Line Rd. 87 Command arrived to find a large area of brush and woods on fire. Command (M Read) requested additional tankers and brush trucks from Sta.71 Blades & Sta.26 Eldorado. Crews worked from the edges of the fire in and also had to protect several homes that were in the area. Due to recent weather several emergency vehicles got stuck in the soft fields. Crews were on scene for about 90 minutes.
