The Dover Fire Department was alerted for a working building fire at East Coast Auto Body on South St. Chief Carey was the first to arrive moments after dispatch and advised he had fire in the roof area. Ladder 1 was the first unit on scene and set up on the delta side. Engine 6 arrived shortly after them and went interior to find the seat of the fire. With the coordinated effort of Engine 6 and Ladder 1s crew the fire was brought under control in about 15 minutes. The fire was contained to an attic area and exhaust unit. All units operated on scene for about a hour. The scene was turned over to the citys fire marshals office for investigation.
