On 5-3-2014 the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department was alerted for an accident with injuries at the intersection of Stein Hwy & Atlanta Rd. Ambulance B-87 arrived to find a 6-wheeled farm truck on its side with its contents spilling out on the roadway. The driver was unhurt and able to climb out on his own power. Rescue 87 arrived lead by 87-17 Matt Read who established command. Crews controlled a small hydraulic fluid leak coming from a side tank. EMS checked out the driver who refused treatment. The Seaford Fire Police along with the Seaford Police Department shut down Stein Hwy for traffic. 87 command requested arrow boards and a front-end loader from the county to respond to help with clean up. Stein Hwy was closed for nearly 2 hours.
