Rollover MVC w/ Vehicle Fire - Felton, DE

At 20:50 hours the Kent county 911 Center alerted Station 48 (Felton), Kent Medic 8, and Trooper 2 for a MVC rollover with a report of subjects trapped in the burning vehicle.  A48, who was already headed in the direction of this call going to an unrelated call was diverted to handle this.  Kent Center advised A48 that they had taken a single call reporting the rollover, fire and the subject trapped but the caller had hung up before any additional details were given.  Before A48s arrival numerous calls about the incident had poured in advising that the subject was removed from the vehicle and the vehicle was fully involved.  A48 arrived shortly after confirming those conditions.  Rescue 48-1 under the direction of Chief Ney arrived shortly after A48 and deployed a 1 3/4" to extinguish the fire.  BLS 50 was requested for a second patient.  Both patients were transported to Milford Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.  48 units cleared shortly after, turning the scene over to DSP for investigation.
