Fatal MVC - Shore Highway - Denton, Md.

At approximately 2:30 PM Caroline dispatched Station 300 (Denton), Station 400 (Ridgely), Paramedic 13 and Paramedic 14 for an MVC with entrapment at the intersection of Shore Highway and River Road. Units arrived on location to find three vehicles involved with one driver heavily entrapped. One patient was transported to the Memorial Hospital at Easton with minor injuries, one patient was pronounced dead at the scene and two patients refused treatment. Shore Highway remained closed for several hours while the Maryland State Police conducted their investigation.

Officer 316 (D. Higgs) had "Shore Highway" command.
