On 110-2-2014 the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department was alerted for a accident with rescue on Concord Pond Rd. 87 Command (J. Wilson) arrived to find a vehicle that had left the right side of the roadway and overturned and coming to rest on the passenger side of the car. The driver was still inside the vehicle and unable to get out. Rescue 87 arrived and used struts to stabilize the vehicle and used a class master to remove the windshield where crews could gain access to the driver. The driver was removed from the vehicle and transported to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford for treatment with non-life threatening injuries. Concord Pond Rd was closed for about an hour during the alarm.
